• Before The Pain : After The Peace //
  • Hi my name is Michael. I just finished college and my mind is all over the place. 23 years old and I realized recently that I am not the person I use to be. I see the world in a totally different way than I use to as a child and as a teenager. Music is different, my opinion of women is different, my opinion on what It means to be a man is different, my actions are no longer control by anyone other than myself. In some aspects I am half the person I use to be but half in other areas I’ve grown by miles.

    As I sat at Graduation with many of my closest friends who I now consider part of my family I realized that all the pain and long hours of stress and torture that we had endured to complete college was done and the peace of continuing onwards with life was the next step. This blog is entitled Before the Pain : After the Peace and will feature my changing vision of the life as a whole. Life is filled Pain and Peace and it is many times shown through Art, Music, Women, Friendship, Life, Sadness, Fashion, Nature, anything.

    I have a passion for learning new things quickly. What I’m learning now is how to use my skills in Management, Marketing, Advertising, Web Design, Video Production and Photography to create and promote my own brand named Give Me Hip-Hop. The mission behind Give Me Hip-Hop is to showcase musicians in a way that will allow them to grow a fan base around their real life and who they really are and not the fantasy life that is sometimes portrayed. //
